Hello friends and family,
Thank you for being the first members of the new GiftofAppreciation.com updates list. As you may know, this is a brand new system and I just completed major improvements this morning based on your feedback. I can not tell you how much I appreciate your comments and suggestions which helped me to condense the message and make additional improvements. Please visit http://GiftofAppreciation.com again and let me know what you think of the new shorter version. I also recorded a quick five minute explanation of the system for people who prefer to hear me explain it rather than having to read it.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated and truly valued.
Happy New Year!
~Jason

Recently I met my cousin Cecil Daily on the phone. Yesterday January 3, 2005 he sent me a picture of Grandfather Wanza who was born into Slavery. (Thank you Cecil!) We are still researching details of how he accomplished so much, but when he was released he was able to purchase more than 100 acres of land in Oklahoma and became a successful farmer. Click to see Wanza's picture.
Cecil,
Thank you so much for the picture of our Great, Great Grandfather Wanza Gregory. There are no words to tell you how much this means to me, but I appreciate you for preserving our history. I appreciate you for being my cousin and I look forward to meeting you personally.
Love,
Jason

I am greatly impressed with your website and your business. I think with your energy and the profile of your business, you are going to have much success.
I must tell you something however; you will probably find out later, that the name Mwanza a Swahili name is certainly the correct spelling of the name of our Great Great grandfather. I have had my birth certificate name changed to read Cecil Mwanza Daily. I have been signing all of my paintings Mwanza for more than twenty-five years. I think that since Wanza could not read or write, the slave owners spelled the name the way a American would, so I choose to use the way his name was probably pronounced in East Africa, likely Tanzania. I could be wrong on this. I live in a community of east africans here in Detroit, and that is their opinion.
I hope not to be offensive with this suggestion, It is just my belief.
with much love and respect Cecil
